Middle School Students


The middle school program provides enrichment and academic classes from 9:00-3:00 on Fridays with the goal of expanding the horizons of the students through enrichment and social interaction. LCA also strives to help older middle school students make the transition to the rigors of high school.

Middle School students and families also get to experience:

  • Support and guidance for families with students in K-12
  • Sports – LCA has their very own basketball program that starts in 5th grade for boys and 6th grade for girls. A volleyball team is also in the works for grades 6th-12th
  • Team coordinators who provide Christian parental support, encouragement, and also assist with record keeping
  • Field Trips
  • Mom’s Night Out events
  • ACEA Competitions in the arts and music
  • Annual Homeschool Encouragement Workshop
  • Standardized Testing – IOWA and Pre-ACT
  • Accommodated Testing
  • Science Fairs
  • Special days and events put on by the student council
  • Online class registration
  • Referral services for those who need special tutoring
  • Choral and theatrical performances
  • Transfer support for incoming students from other schools
  • Support for students with disabilities
  • Office hours for in-person consultations
